[Installation Example] Medical Device Manufacturer Company E

Simplifying the sorting of complex A, B, and C items for anyone! Achieve a 17% increase in work efficiency and reduce the number of workers.

**[Problems faced by Medical Device Manufacturer E]** In the outbound operations, there was a need to establish a smart system that anyone could operate and to implement a system that would lead to a reduction in the number of workers. **[Implementation Effects]** By conducting logistics analysis on the hit rate of products and dividing the storage areas for products A, B, and C, the walking routes were shortened by using conveyors, resulting in a 17% increase in work efficiency compared to before. Due to the simple system where tasks are performed according to the instructions on the display, consideration was given to the workers, and an easy-to-use sorting system was realized, successfully reducing the number of workers. **[Products in this Case]** - MWU Series "MWU2040PF" - JW Series "JW2050F-23" - JW Series "JW2000LF" - 14-Segment Batch Display "MWU2414" *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.* **[LIVE Showroom Currently Held]** We are conducting a "LIVE Showroom" utilizing the web for easy access. Introducing case studies in 3 minutes! Automation of sorting processes for drugstores.

Achieving labor reduction in logistics centers through the automation of case item sorting and piece item sorting by store!

This is a case video demonstrating the automation of the sorting process at a logistics center handling pharmacy store products. The case item sorting machine "Quick Sort" has the feature of being able to construct a sorting line that crosses fire compartments. By proposing a single system to centers that previously required multiple sorting systems, we were able to reduce material handling costs. The piece item sorting system "Lini Sort" has significantly improved the efficiency of input to the sorter by adopting automatic induction. If you are interested in details such as sorting lines that cross fire compartments and labor-saving through automatic input, please feel free to contact us.

[Short-term construction] Responding to the expansion of sorting openings with weekend work!

Increased the sorting entrance from 124 to 183! Capable of accommodating further increases in volume and new stores!

Due to the increase in shipment volume and the number of customers, the existing system (DAS system) could no longer handle the demand, leading to the introduction of the first unit in June 2014. Subsequently, to accommodate the increase in shipment volume, the number of stores, and category-specific shipments, an expansion project with 59 shoots was carried out in August 2018. Additionally, since the center can only stop sorting on weekends outside of peak periods, modifications were implemented solely on weekends.

[Case Study] Further Efficiency Improvement in Order-Specific Sorting through Sorter x Secondary Sorting

Introducing the Linisort S-E for the first sorting process and the Shutter Assort System for the second sorting process!

Hamakyo Rex Co., Ltd., headquartered in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, operates the Fukui Center as a base in the Hokuriku region. The company handles online sales of clothing and has significantly improved sorting capacity per batch by combining the Linisort S-E and the Shutter Assort System. Before the implementation, operations were conducted using the island picking method, where picking and shipping were done in units of 12 people (12 orders). However, there were limitations in picking in units of 12 and waiting times during transitions. After the implementation, it became possible to pick orders for 240 people as a single unit, which is 20 times more than before. The elimination of the island picking method reduced waiting times, and the number of transitions for shipping was also significantly decreased.
